About FlexUp

FlexUp is reinventing the way businesses are built, run, and shared.

We are developing a comprehensive ecosystem designed to help entrepreneurs and companies start, manage, and grow their businesses in a way that is simpler, more resilient, and fundamentally more equitable. Our ecosystem rests on three pillars:

  1. An Innovative Economic Model: A universal remuneration framework where profits and voting rights are distributed based on actual contributions and risk taken – not status, seniority, or negotiating power. Every stakeholder – founders, team members, investors, suppliers, and clients – participates under the same transparent rules.
  2. A Powerful Business App: An integrated SaaS platform to manage contracts, orders, cash flow, and equity distribution, turning complex business operations into a seamless experience.
  3. A Collaborative Network: A growing community of professionals, advisors, and investors aligned around shared values and mutual success.

FlexUp has been eight years in the making. After years of research and development, the project was relaunched 18 months ago with a clear focus: build the economic model, the legal framework, and the platform. That foundation is now in place. What we need is a business leader to bring it to market.

About the Role

This is not a traditional marketing hire. This is a partner-level leadership role.

FlexUp’s founder and CEO is a technical builder – the architect behind the economic model, the legal framework, and the app. What’s missing is an equally driven counterpart on the commercial and strategic side: someone who can take a powerful product and turn it into a thriving business.

As Chief Growth Officer & Partner, you will be the driving force behind everything that brings FlexUp to the world: market positioning, brand building, demand generation, business development, strategic partnerships, customer acquisition and retention, and revenue growth. You will own the full commercial strategy and have the autonomy to execute it.

This is a leadership role with real equity, real decision-making authority, and a direct seat at the table. You and the CEO will form the core leadership duo steering FlexUp’s growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Go-to-Market & Brand Strategy
  • Define and execute FlexUp’s global go-to-market strategy across segments (entrepreneurs, startups, SMEs, corporates, investors, service providers).
  • Craft and articulate a clear, differentiated market positioning for FlexUp’s economic model, platform, and community.
  • Own brand strategy, messaging architecture, and storytelling across all channels and touchpoints.
  • Build FlexUp’s thought-leadership presence, positioning the company as a category creator in equitable business infrastructure.
  • Business Development & Strategic Partnerships.
  • Identify, negotiate, and close strategic partnerships (incubators, accelerators, professional networks, institutional partners, franchise opportunities).
  • Develop and execute a franchise and licensing strategy to scale FlexUp’s model across geographies and verticals.
  • Build relationships with ecosystem players – investors, advisors, media, government programs – to accelerate adoption.
  • Customer Acquisition, Onboarding & Growth.
  • Design and scale a multi-channel acquisition engine (content marketing, SEO, social media, PR, events, referral programs, paid campaigns).
  • Own the full customer lifecycle: acquisition, onboarding, activation, retention, expansion (cross-selling, up-selling), and advocacy.
  • Build and optimize demand generation strategies targeting qualified leads across all stakeholder segments.
  • Define and track growth KPIs (CAC, LTV, MQL/SQL pipeline, activation rates, churn, NPS, revenue per account).
  • Revenue & Commercial Operations.
  • Drive revenue generation through subscription growth, platform adoption, and advisory services monetization.
  • Develop pricing and packaging strategies in collaboration with the CEO.
  • Support fundraising efforts: investor communications, pitch materials, market narratives, and due diligence support.
  • Team Building.
  • Build and lead the commercial team over time – marketing, business development, customer success, partnerships – through internal hires, agencies, and freelancers.
  • Collaborate closely with Product and Engineering to ensure market feedback shapes the product roadmap.

Who We Are Looking For

  • 15+ years of experience spanning marketing, business development, and commercial leadership, with a track record at the C-level or senior VP level.
  • Proven experience building and scaling a commercial function from early stage to growth phase – ideally as a founding team member, first commercial hire, or head of growth at a startup or scale-up.
  • Deep expertise across brand strategy, go-to-market execution, demand generation, and business development.
  • Experience in B2B SaaS, platforms, marketplaces, or ecosystem businesses.
  • Strong strategic thinker who is equally comfortable rolling up their sleeves – you’ve operated in resource-constrained environments and know how to do a lot with a little.
  • Ability to translate complex economic and technical concepts into compelling, clear narratives that resonate with diverse audiences (founders, corporate executives, investors, policymakers).
  • Experience with strategic partnerships, channel development, franchising, or licensing is a significant plus.
  • Experience supporting or leading fundraising rounds (seed to Series A/B) and investor relations.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset: you think like an owner, act with urgency, and are energized by building something from the ground up.
  • Mission-driven: you are genuinely motivated by the idea of creating a fairer, more transparent way of doing business.

Don’t meet every single requirement?

We still encourage you to apply.

We value entrepreneurial drive, strategic vision, and alignment with our mission as much as a perfect CV. You may be exactly the partner we’re looking for.

💸 Compensation

his is a partner-level role, and the compensation reflects that.

Your initial compensation will be 100% in FlexUp equity (Credits and Tokens) during the first phase (~6 months), until we raise external funding or begin generating revenues. This is not a compromise – it’s how partners build together. You will accumulate equity on the same terms as the founding team, under FlexUp’s own economic model, where your stake grows in direct proportion to your contributions and the risk you take.

To understand how FlexUp equity works, please refer to the FlexUp Economic Model Overview.

Why join FlexUp?

A True Leadership Partnership

This is not a hire – it’s a partnership. You will join as the commercial counterpart to a technical founder, with real decision-making authority, meaningful equity, and the freedom to shape the company’s trajectory. Very few roles offer this level of ownership and impact.

 A Product That’s Ready

You won’t be joining a company with just an idea. FlexUp has a working product, a legal framework, a tested economic model, and early traction. What we need is the commercial leader to bring it to scale.

Meaningful Impact

Make a tangible difference every day. Your work will directly empower entrepreneurs and startups to launch, grow, and succeed, contributing to a more dynamic and equitable economy.

How to Apply

Please review this job description carefully and click "Apply Now!" to begin your application. Make sure to complete all required fields and upload both your CV and a tailored cover letter (both should be in PDF format).

Your cover letter is the most crucial part of your application. We consider it the first test of your motivation and diligence. To be considered, your cover letter must be a thoughtful, custom response that is clearly structured to demonstrate the following:

Part 1: Your Understanding

  • Explain, in your own words, what FlexUp is and what makes its approach innovative.

Part 2: Your Alignment

  • Share why FlexUp’s mission resonates with you personally.
  • Make a clear case for why your experience, skills, and track record make you the right partner for this role.

Part 3: Your Vision

  • As a senior commercial leader, we expect you to come with a point of view. Describe your vision and high-level roadmap for bringing FlexUp to market and scaling its adoption.

Part 3: Your Commitment

  • Confirm that you understand and accept the equity-based compensation structure during the initial phase, as described in the Compensation section.

Applications with generic cover letters or those that do not address these points will not be considered.

We are building a new way of doing business. If you are ready to lead that charge, we look forward to hearing from you.

A Bold Vision & Innovation

FlexUp is building something that doesn’t exist yet, a business infrastructure where fairness, transparency, and collaboration are the default, not the exception. If you’ve ever felt that the way businesses treat people could be fundamentally better, this is your chance to prove it.
