About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated Legal Counsel Analyst to support both internal and external legal requirements. In this role, you will handle a wide range of responsibilities, from drafting and reviewing contracts to ensuring compliance with regulatory frameworks, advising on company policies, and supporting cross-functional teams.
You will initially be the only legal consel in the team, will contribute to developing the legal framework that supports the FlexUp Economic Model.

Much like a Business Analyst bridges business and technical needs, you will serve as the bridge between our business operations and legal requirements, ensuring we make sound, compliant, and risk-aware decisions.
Key Responsibilities
- Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, agreements, and other legal documents.
- Provide legal advice to internal teams on corporate, commercial, and compliance matters.
- Support external legal requirements, including client contracts, vendor agreements, and partnerships.
- Ensure company policies, processes, and operations comply with applicable laws and regulations.
- Identify potential legal risks and propose strategies to mitigate them.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (business, finance, operations, product) to align legal requirements with business goals.
- Maintain proper legal documentation and records.
- Act as the point of contact for external legal advisors when needed.
Who We Are Looking For
- Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Law (LLB or equivalent); additional qualifications such as LLM or certifications in corporate/commercial law are a plus.
- Experience: 2–5 years of legal experience, preferably in corporate, commercial, or technology-related sectors.
- Skills:
- Strong knowledge of contract law, corporate governance, and compliance.
- Excellent drafting, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Ability to analyze complex legal issues and present practical solutions.
- Familiarity with data protection, IP, or international legal frameworks is an advantage.
- Mindset: Proactive, detail-oriented, and business-friendly approach to legal problem-solving.
- Collaboration: Comfortable working closely with both internal stakeholders and external partners.

Compensation Package
We offer a competitive salary package structured according to our own FlexUp model. Your initial compensation will be entirely in FlexUp equity (Credits and Tokens) during the first ~6 months, until we raise funds or start generating revenues.
