About the Role

We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented UI/UX Designer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing intuitive, user-friendly interfaces and delivering engaging digital experiences. You will collaborate closely with product managers, developers, and business teams to translate ideas into designs that delight users and align with our product vision.

Key Responsibilities
- Conduct user research and gather insights to inform design decisions.
- Create wireframes, prototypes, and user flows that map out seamless experiences.
- Design high-quality UI elements, layouts, and visual assets.
- Collaborate with product and development teams to ensure design feasibility and alignment.
- Run usability tests and gather feedback to iterate on designs.
- Maintain consistency in design systems, style guides, and brand identity.
- Support marketing and branding initiatives by providing creatives for social media, blogs, and website assets.
Who We Are Looking For
- Experience: 2–5 years as a UI/UX Designer or in a similar design role.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in design and prototyping tools (Figma or Adobe XD)
- Strong understanding of responsive design and accessibility principles.
- Knowledge of design systems and component libraries.
- Familiarity with front-end basics (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) is a plus.
- Portfolio: A strong portfolio demonstrating user-centered design, problem-solving skills, and polished UI work.
- Mindset: Creative thinker, detail-oriented, and passionate about crafting seamless user experiences.
- Collaboration: Ability to communicate design decisions clearly and work effectively with cross-functional teams.
💸 Compensation
Your initial compensation will be 100% in FlexUp equity (Credits and Tokens) for the first ~6 months, until we raise external funding or begin generating revenues. To understand how FlexUp equity works, please refer to the FlexUp Economic Model Overview.
Special cases:
We understand that everyone’s situation is different. If needed, we are open to adapting:
- Scenario A: You currently have a job and need stable income
You may apply for a part-time position during the first phase, allowing you to maintain your current revenue stream while contributing to FlexUp and gradually transitioning to full-time later. - Scenario B: You do not currently have income and require some cash
In limited cases, we may be able to offer a modest portion of your compensation in cash, within the limits of our current financial resources.
